Humberto's passion for everything computer was born at a young age from the 90's shells; ever since he's been inseparable from them.
Following this passion, Humberto enrolled in a bachelor degree in computer engineering at ISEP, where he was the first student to achieve a grade of 18/20. Continuing his studies, he earned his Master Degree in Software Engineering at ISEP, achieving a final grade of 19/20. Humberto's continuous dedication to excellence has merited multiple academic honor awards.
During his Master degree, Humberto has also been a researcher at CISTER, contributing to several research topics such as runtime verification, wait-free algorithms and data structures, parallelism and concurrency, scheduling, resource sharing, and operating systems.
He's also participated in key industry-driven projects with industry-leaders such as Honeywell and Critical Software.
Humberto is always keen on new interesting and challenging problems and is looking forward to expanding his record by further contributing to real-time safety-critical systems and other areas such as artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technologies.
