Dr. Kai Li presents a Seminar at the University of Göttingen

CISTER researcher Dr. Kai Li was invited by Prof. Xiaoming Fu to visit the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Göttingen, Germany, from January 13 to January 14.

During this visit, Dr. Kai Li delivered a seminar titled "Cybersecurity and Federated Learning in Metaverse," where we explored emergent attacks on federated learning models and examined innovative defense strategies aimed at preserving data privacy and robustness of federated learning. These approaches have significant implications for a range of Metaverse use cases, highlighting the growing importance of secure, decentralized machine learning in immersive digital environments.

This opportunity to share and discuss our recent research achievements at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and virtual worlds proved to be both insightful and inspiring.
